I was given the opportunity to write an article you can read here for the Idaho Statesman in which I discussed the vast issues with the current health care system. This article was written partly in response to Congressman Raul Labrador speaking about healthcare where he stated: “lack of access to health care doesn’t kill people.” That inspired me to write this article so people know that statement is just untrue. I have seen it happen time and time again, and other physicians can attest to it as well. The fact of the matter is our health care system in the United States just doesn’t work in all facets. Change needs to happen which is what I am trying to accomplish with direct primary care at sparkMD.
